Growing up ugly meant being okay with being the second pick.

THE  PRESSURE

It must be very difficult to have been an exceptionally attractive person, and to have used that to your advantage, and to watch that power fade with every wrinkle.

OUR  FAMILIES

Parents who brought me into the world, left me when I was only 3 years old... However, I was very lucky because I didn't meet any woman who would accept to build a family together

Guess what? Being fancied by someone ugly doesn't affect your attractiveness...

I HOPE YOU'RE DOING WELL

If I wasn't hearing bad things about myself, I wouldn't think "oh, I'm a bad person, I can't do this, I am not going to do it". Whereas if no one said anything bad about me, I would push myself harder into doing things and knowing that I can do it, no matter what happens I will do it … but I just can't."

The pressure, particularly on women, to grow old without actually ageing is ridiculous.

I am not worried about "losing my looks"

My STEP FATHER once told me:

"I wanted you to understand that the right place perceives you in the right way.
If you are not appreciated, don't be upset,  it just means that you are in the wrong place.

This is true, and it will never change.

Learning how to deal with things you can’t change is the greatest life lesson there is.

I'm afraid there's not much we can do about it if not recognizing it at least.

Love would change my life. It's not that I lack everything else.

It's that everything else is not enjoyable if you lack someone to share it with.

At best we can try to force ourselves to be more objective, sure, but as far as love and friends

Attractive people will deny this, but it would be the same for them

They just don't have to experience it.

it would probably not have much of an effect because those things are subjective and free from any control.
